Learn about the NDIS fundamentals, tips on bringing your plan to life and making an informed choice about Self Direction and Self Management. This event will make you more confident, informed and capable of taking control of your own NDIS journey.

Joining the roadshow are Caroline Daley and Meredith Baylis who will help to build your capacity, enabling you to bring your NDIS plan to life. It’s a safe space to learn, have conversations with our experts and share experiences with other attendees!

1. How to find the right support workers for you
Facilitator: Caroline Daley - Founder of PlanHELP

  • There is an art to finding the best support workers for you. Over time, Caroline has built the perfect team of support workers with her daughter, Siobhan and will share their story and learnings so that you are one step ahead in building your team of supports. 
  • In this session you will learn some simple techniques and ways of implementing choice and control within your package.

2. The nuts and bolts of Support Coordination 
Facilitator: Meredith Baylis - Support Coordinator at Jeder

  • What is Support Coordination and how do I know if I need it? If I already have it, what do I do next? Who is a Coordinator of Support and how are they different to a Local Area Coordinator? 
  • In this session, Meredith will answer all of these questions and more. As a leading independent Coordinator of Support, Meredith will guide you towards getting the very best outcomes out of you support coordination so that your plan comes to life.
