
We’ve partnered with TAFE NSW to launch an exclusive fully government-funded training opportunity for eligible independent support workers in CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community).
The nationally accredited training will give you the skills to work as an aged care worker in the expanding aged care industry. Experience a deep sense of job satisfaction as you support elderly people to maintain independence and achieve their personal goals in a residential, home and community setting.
Core competencies
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) covers a range of core unit competencies including:
- provide individualised support to clients with diverse needs, including people with dementia
- empower clients to reach their independence goals
- incorporate the concepts and practices of person-centred support
- and use discretion and judgement in a variety of settings
Course delivery
The course will be delivered via a combination of virtual online classes, self directed learning on the TAFE online platform and assessment in the workplace. This course will start in September, 2022 and be completed by May, 2023.

There are no prerequisites. You are eligible for these free modules if you are a member of the Mable community and:
